Spoilers: In the wedding-day episode “Once In A Lifetime,” Marissa George and Ramses Prashad break up before their ceremony. Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis marry, as do Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans.
Do Marissa and Ramses get married?
No. The episode resumes with Marissa and Ramses in a tense conversation, and they separate before reaching the altar. The Things’ episode-specific recap describes Ramses as having doubts after talking with his family; Marissa is frustrated that other people’s opinions appear to be weighing on the decision more than the couple’s own feelings. TV Guide’s Oct. 24, 2024 finale recap reports Ramses telling Marissa he did not think their “energy can coexist in the same space” long-term. The reversal lands sharply: the recap notes that they had been choosing wedding songs just two days earlier. (TV Guide)
Who gets married in episode 12?
Ashley and Tyler
Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis go through with their wedding and say “I do.”
Taylor and Garrett
Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans also marry. TV Guide reports that they affirm their belief in the experiment at the altar. Taylor’s wedding-day line, as reported by TV Guide, is: “Garrett is the kind of man that only comes along once in a lifetime.” (TV Guide)
What makes the finale’s wedding day different for each couple?
The episode sets two outcomes against Marissa and Ramses’ separation: Ashley and Tyler, and Taylor and Garrett, proceed to marriage. The reporting establishes Ramses’ long-term compatibility concern and the family conversations that preceded his doubts, but it does not establish comparable private motives for the other couples. The contrast is therefore in the decisions shown—not a basis for guessing at anyone’s reasons.

After Marissa and Ramses part, the episode moves through bachelor and bachelorette celebrations before the two weddings. The installment’s central question—whether anyone will make it down the aisle—is answered by Ashley and Tyler’s and Taylor and Garrett’s ceremonies.

The reunion and later cast updates are follow-up, not scenes from episode 12. At the Oct. 30, 2024 reunion, Ashley described the relationship as “a once in a lifetime kind of love,” according to Netflix Tudum’s Oct. 31 recap. That reunion remark is separate from Taylor’s wedding-day line. (Netflix Tudum)
