When did Season 7 premiere?
Season 7 began in Japan on May 4, 2024, with episode 139, the first story episode of the season. The original Japanese television schedule was weekly Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. on the Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV network across 29 stations, with some regional exceptions. That was a Japan-specific broadcast schedule, not a worldwide airtime. The December 2023 announcement gives the schedule.
The official distributor also listed streaming for the season beginning May 4, 2024, but release times and availability varied by distribution category. A March 2024 notice named services carrying the series in Japan at that time; it does not establish current availability in other countries. Check services in your region for their present catalog listings. The dated Japanese streaming notice lists the original distribution information.

How many recap episodes aired before Season 7?
There were four installments of My Hero Academia Memories, broadcast on April 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2024. The official announcement describes them as revisiting important stories leading into Season 7, with new scenes. They were a pre-season recap and preparation series, not four episodes of Season 7. The official announcement gives the schedule and description.
Where does Season 7 begin in the manga?
The official anime site identifies chapter 329, collected in manga Volume 34, as the starting point for Season 7. Volume 34 is therefore a relevant place to pick up the manga at the season’s opening; it does not contain the entire season’s story. The season follows the Paranormal Liberation War and Dark Hero arcs adapted in Season 6 and moves toward the final confrontation involving Shigaraki and All For One. The December 11, 2023 season announcement establishes the chapter and story context.

Is Season 7 still upcoming?
No. Season 7 premiered in 2024. On June 16, 2025, the official anime site announced a teaser for the Final Season and an October broadcast start, so Season 7 should be treated as a past season rather than an upcoming release. The Final Season announcement confirms the later milestone.
