M&M’S Peanut Butter & Jelly was announced on September 19, 2024, and Mars said it would reach retailers nationwide and MMS.com beginning in December 2024. Mars reported in July 2025 that the candy was available nationwide and online; the official M&M’S site currently lists an 8.6 oz pouch. The name describes a flavor combination, but the product descriptions do not establish that it contains fruit jelly.
When did Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M’S come out?
Mars announced M&M’S Peanut Butter & Jelly on September 19, 2024, with nationwide retailer and online availability planned to begin in December 2024. In an update dated July 22, 2025, Mars said the candy was available at retailers nationwide and online at MMS.com. That dated statement does not guarantee stock at every store today.
What do Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M’S taste like?
Mars described the candy at launch as berry-flavored bite-sized chocolate treats with a smooth peanut butter center. The current M&M’S product listing describes creamy peanut butter and sweet jelly flavors coated in milk chocolate and candy shells. Neither description names a particular berry variety or confirms that the filling includes actual fruit jelly, so “jelly” should be read as part of the flavor description rather than a verified ingredient claim.
What sizes are available?
Mars listed three package sizes in its 2024 announcement and repeated them in its 2025 availability update:

How it fits into the M&M’S peanut butter lineup
Mars’s 2024 announcement also named Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Minis, and Peanut Butter Mega among its other products. The announcement does not provide a direct taste comparison between those candies and Peanut Butter & Jelly, so the verified distinction here is the new berry-and-jelly flavor description paired with a peanut butter center.
