#NuevoAmanecer is one of four categories in People en Español’s 2022 Los 50 más bellos feature. Its gallery presents 10 profiles—not all 50—of people the magazine framed around personal or professional new beginnings.
What #NuevoAmanecer means in the 2022 feature
People en Español published “Los 50 más bellos de People en Español 2022: #NuevoAmanecer” on June 22, 2022. The magazine divided that year’s broader Los 50 más bellos feature into four categories: “bellos de la música,” “mamás bellas,” artists leaving a mark, and people experiencing a new beginning in their personal or professional lives. The publisher described the last group as people with “un nuevo amanecer” in 2022.

The title’s “50” refers to the wider feature. This particular #NuevoAmanecer gallery contains 10 profiles. People en Español’s introduction gives varied reasons for inclusion, including personal or career changes and reader voting; it does not establish one selection criterion that applies to every honoree.

Adamari López on a new stage of life
In her profile, López reflects on how she sees herself: “Veo a una mujer que se ha sabido levantar, que disfruta cada día de cada nueva oportunidad, que está contenta de cómo va llevando esta nueva etapa de su vida, mucho más tranquila, segura, feliz”. The remark captures the gallery’s emphasis on personal change. It is López’s statement as quoted in People en Español’s 2022 feature.

The gallery is best understood as an editorial snapshot from 2022: People en Español selected ten people for this category and presented short profiles tied to new beginnings as the magazine defined them at the time. Its biographical descriptions and interview excerpts should be attributed to the magazine or the named speaker; the feature itself does not independently establish claims about a subject’s health or other personal circumstances.
