What Freddie Highmore said about being married
On Jimmy Kimmel Live! in September 2021, Highmore discussed the ring on his finger and confirmed, “Yes, it is a wedding ring. Yes, I got married.” Just Jared’s contemporary report reproduces the exchange.

Highmore also described his wife as British and said, “I’m as happy as as a Brit can be and I’m married to a very wonderful woman now, so yes I feel very happy.” UPI’s September 2021 report likewise says he confirmed the marriage without disclosing her name. These are press accounts of a televised interview, rather than a transcript published by the program.
Why Klarissa Munz is identified as his wife
A June 2025 Parade profile names Klarissa Munz as Highmore’s wife. The name comes from that later profile; it was not part of his 2021 on-air announcement. Parade’s profile also notes how little information about the couple is public.

What is known about their wedding—and what is not
Highmore’s September 2021 appearance establishes when he publicly confirmed he was married, not the date of the wedding itself. Parade reports that the exact timing is not known; the available accounts do not establish a venue or ceremony details. The profile’s account of the wedding timing should not be read as a precise date.
What has been reported about Munz’s background
A 2024 profile by Pulse Nigeria says Munz studied theology and religious studies at Cambridge and has worked in web development. Those are secondary-profile claims, not details established here through a first-party source, and they should not be treated as confirmation of her current job or circumstances. The available public accounts establish Highmore’s own marriage confirmation and his brief description of his wife, followed by later reporting that identifies her as Munz.
