Reports published after influencer Mary Magdalene’s death describe footage of her being helped into a cart by officers in Thailand weeks earlier. The accounts differ on when and where it happened, and neither establishes why she was in distress.
What the video reportedly shows
Mary Magdalene was the online name of Denise Ivonne Jarvis Gongora; TMZ’s report shortens her name to Denise Jarvis. In a report published December 17, 2025, TMZ said video it obtained showed Gongora unable to walk unaided as Thai officers lifted her into a cart, moved her through a building, and took her into what appeared to be a hotel room. TMZ said she appeared to claim she had been “drugged,” but that description is not evidence that she was drugged. TMZ’s account

A People report republished by AOL also described Gongora being loaded into a cart and taken toward her hotel. It attributed the words “I don’t know what’s happening” and “I’m drunk” to her in the footage. These are reported descriptions of a video, not an official account or a medical assessment. With no primary record resolving the difference in these accounts, the incident can be described confidently only as having been reported in Thailand weeks before her death. The specific date and place should remain attributed to the outlet reporting them.

TMZ reported that Gongora died on December 9, 2025, after falling from the ninth floor of a high-rise in Phuket, Thailand. That account does not establish the cause or intent of the fall. The earlier video, as described by either outlet, does not explain or establish a connection to her death.
