That dollar figure is an estimate, not a universal TikTok price: the amount you pay depends on your account, region, Coin bundle and purchase channel. Check the Gift panel and the Coin price shown in your account before sending.
What does a TikTok Universe cost?
TikFinity’s September 25, 2026 guide lists the blue-globe TikTok Universe at 44,999 Coins and estimates a web-purchase cost of about $477. TikTok does not publish a fixed dollar price for this Gift. Its U.S. Virtual Items Policy says the Coin requirement for a Gift appears before use, while the price of Coins varies by purchase quantity and channel. The live price in your TikTok account is the best figure to use.

Coins are digital items used to activate Gifts and other platform items or services. A Gift’s Coin requirement and the dollar cost to buy those Coins are different amounts: the latter depends on how and where you buy them.
Universe and Universe+ are different Gifts
The name can be confusing because TikFinity lists two similarly named items. Its September 25, 2026 guide gives these figures:

These are third-party catalogue figures, not a substitute for the listing in your account. Check the Gift’s name, image and Coin count in the send panel; TikFinity also reports separate gift-list entries named TikTok Universe.
Why the dollar total varies
TikTok’s U.S. policy says Coin prices depend on the quantity bought and the purchase channel. Supported routes include in-app purchases through app stores and direct purchases on TikTok’s website; gift cards may be available in some countries. The price displayed at the point of purchase includes applicable taxes or charges, though a payment provider may add fees such as currency-conversion or foreign-transaction charges.

How to check the amount before sending
- Open the LIVE or other eligible TikTok context where you want to send a Gift.
- Open the Gift panel and find the blue-globe TikTok Universe. Confirm that the listing is Universe, not Universe+.
- Check the Coin requirement shown beside the Gift before activating it.
- If you need more Coins, review the total shown by TikTok for your chosen purchase route and bundle before confirming the purchase.
- Return to the Gift panel and confirm the Coin balance and Gift listing before sending.
TikTok’s policy says Gifts are consumed when activated and are not refundable. Coin refunds depend on the purchase route: direct website Coins are generally not returnable or refundable under the U.S. policy, while app-store purchases follow the relevant store’s refund process and rules.
Does the creator receive the viewer’s spending?
No direct conversion should be assumed. TikTok says Gifts do not transfer money or anything of value to another user. Diamonds measure popularity, but holding Diamonds does not automatically guarantee a Reward Payment. TikFinity’s guide estimates a creator-side value, but that is not a guaranteed TikTok payout, so the viewer’s Coin purchase should not be treated as the creator’s take-home amount.

Who can buy and use Coins?
TikTok’s U.S. Virtual Items Policy sets a minimum age of 18, or the higher age of majority in the user’s jurisdiction, for buying and using Coins. That is the U.S. policy; users elsewhere should check the terms that apply in their location.
