She recalled that they tried to avoid each other for roughly six months because both felt the timing was wrong. F4WOnline’s account does not give an exact date or place for their first meeting.
Scarlett described the connection that followed as magnetic. Her account places the beginning of their relationship later than their first meeting, and the two dates should not be conflated.

What did they say about their first date?
In a joint interview with TV Insider published February 12, 2026, the couple recalled seeing Halloween Ends in Los Angeles on their first date. They said they threw popcorn at each other, and Kross fell asleep while they were holding hands. Scarlett summed up the story: “Well, he fell asleep on our first date.” TV Insider’s interview presents this as the couple’s own recollection.
Engagement and wedding
- Engagement announcement: WWE reported that the couple announced their engagement on social media on September 23, 2021. That is the announcement date, not necessarily the date of the proposal. WWE’s announcement report.
- Wedding: In the 2026 TV Insider interview, they said they married in a private ceremony on an Alaskan glacier in 2022. The interview gives the year and setting, but not the exact wedding date.
