Kim Orton says she met Randy at a WWE show where she was a fan. In her recollection, he approached her after his match, invited her to meet him, and the two talked on his bus before sharing a kiss. WWE announced their marriage in November 2015. The details of their first encounter come from Kim’s retrospective account, rather than an independently verified account of the scene.
How Kim says they first met
In a 2022 report about her appearance on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Kim recalled being in the audience at a WWE show and noticing Randy look toward her as he walked to the ring. After his match, she went to the barricade. She said he took pictures with people nearby, then came over and asked if she wanted a photo. He asked her name and whether she lived locally, and suggested they meet at the Red Line Diner. Wrestling Inc. reported Kim’s account in 2022.
From the invitation to their first kiss
Kim said Randy could not go into the diner, so she went onto his bus. She recalled that they talked for about 40 minutes, including about her sons and his daughter. She described him moving her hair behind her ear before they kissed. In the report, Kim remembered thinking the gesture felt like something a “Missouri boy” would do.
That sequence—meeting at a show, talking privately, then kissing—is Kim’s description of the encounter. WWE’s Table for 3 page confirms she discussed how they first met, but its description does not independently supply the details of the scene.
