Linda McMahon has said she met Vince McMahon at church when she was 13 and he was 16. Vince’s mother, who sang in the choir, introduced them. They married on August 26, 1966, when Linda was 17, according to Voice of America.
Where and how did Linda and Vince McMahon meet?
Linda described their meeting in a 2016 interview with Sports Illustrated: “We met at church. His mother sang in the choir and she actually introduced us.” She added that their families knew of each other because Vince’s mother worked at the same military base as Linda’s parents, but said that was not how the couple met.

The church’s name and location, and the exact date of their first meeting, are not identified in the available accounts.
How old were they when they met?
Linda was 13 and Vince was 16, according to Linda’s account and corroborating reports. A 1999 account of a joint interview also says they married three years after meeting, consistent with the reported ages and wedding date.
