PerthNow reported on 18 August 2024 that Home and Away actor James Stewart was in co-star Ada Nicodemou’s room at Sydney’s The Darling Hotel as she prepared for that evening’s Logie Awards. The account was based on an Instagram video Nicodemou posted; it does not establish whether the pair later appeared together at the ceremony.
What PerthNow reported from Nicodemou’s hotel-room video
In its 18 August 2024 report, PerthNow said Nicodemou gave viewers a tour of her room at The Darling Hotel in Sydney while getting ready for the Logies. Stewart was visible sitting behind a partitioned wall and reading a newspaper. The report says Nicodemou turned the camera away after he looked up.
This is a description of the video as reported by PerthNow, not an independently verified account of the footage. The story framed the moment as Stewart being spotted in Nicodemou’s hotel room before the awards.
Had Ada Nicodemou confirmed they were dating?
PerthNow said Nicodemou had confirmed the relationship in an interview with Stellar Magazine the previous month. The outlet quoted her saying: “Jimmy and I are together, yes. It’s only early days.”

The quote describes the relationship as it was characterized at that time. It does not, by itself, establish anything about what happened later at the Logie Awards.
How long had Stewart and Nicodemou known each other?
PerthNow placed their professional connection back to the Australian drama Breakers, which they filmed in 1998. The report also said they had been co-stars on Home and Away for seven years by the time the article was published in 2024. Those dates and durations are PerthNow’s account.

Did they attend or appear together at the 2024 Logies?
The PerthNow report raised the possibility of a public appearance together, but it does not establish whether they attended or appeared together at the ceremony. The hotel-room sighting and the reported relationship confirmation should not be treated as proof of a red-carpet appearance.
