Según la entrevista citada por People en Español, la idea surgió durante una comida familiar en Mérida. Su cuñada le preguntó: «¿por qué no sacas ya el tuyo?»
Romina describió la cuenta como una manera de obtener ingresos y atender sus gastos. Dijo: «Es una forma de invertir porque como todos yo necesito salir adelante y pagar una renta. No soy tan diferentes, también tengo mis necesidades económicas». Es una explicación atribuida a ella, no una verificación independiente de su situación financiera.

People en Español reprodujo el mensaje de bienvenida que aparecía en la cuenta: «Hola, bebes. Bienvenidos a mi Only. La vamos a pasar muy bien. Gracias por suscribirte, te mando besitos».
