Yes. Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour became the highest-grossing concert film, though the reported total depends on the source and the date of its count. AMC announced on January 7, 2024, that the movie had earned more than $261.6 million worldwide; Guinness World Records lists a separate, earlier total of $246,365,022 as of November 23, 2023.
How much did The Eras Tour movie make?
The most useful way to answer is to keep each figure tied to its source and snapshot date:
| Source and date | Reported worldwide gross | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|
| Guinness World Records, as of November 23, 2023 | $246,365,022 | The record entry for highest-grossing concert or performance film; it attributes the gross to The Numbers. |
| AMC Entertainment, announcement dated January 7, 2024 | More than $261.6 million | AMC’s later announced total for the film, in a comparison covering concert films and documentaries. |
These are dated snapshots from sources using different category descriptions, not conflicting claims about one identical measurement. AMC said the film had passed Michael Jackson’s This Is It, which AMC cited at $261.2 million worldwide. Treat that comparison as AMC’s January 2024 statement rather than as a universal, standardized box-office ranking.
What record did the film set?
Guinness World Records uses the category “Highest-grossing concert or performance film at the global box office.” Its entry says the movie passed the previous concert/performance-film worldwide grosses on October 20, 2023. Guinness reports $109,202,466 after five days and an opening-weekend gross of $92,804,678 for October 13–15, 2023, combining U.S. and Canadian and international cinema screenings. Those figures describe different points in the film’s theatrical run, not additional lifetime totals.

AMC’s January 7, 2024 announcement described the film as the highest-grossing film among concert films and documentaries. The label matters: “concert film,” “concert or performance film,” and the broader “concert films and documentaries” category are not interchangeable. Guinness also notes that records can change and may not appear online immediately.
Where can you watch the movie?
Disney announced that Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) would debut exclusively on Disney+ on March 15, 2024. The streaming version includes “cardigan” and four additional acoustic songs not in the theatrical or video-on-demand release. That announcement establishes the launch plan, not current availability in every country. Disney+ catalogs can vary by territory and change over time, so check the service in your region for present access.

How was the film distributed?
AMC said it distributed the film through AMC Theatres Distribution, with regional and international partners. Its January 2024 release named Alibaba Pictures in China, Cineplex in Canada, Cinepolis in Mexico and Latin America, Variance Films in the United States, and Trafalgar Releasing elsewhere. This was the film’s release structure; it does not establish a current ticketing or referral arrangement.

The official UK Taylor Swift Store lists The Official Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Book, a 256-page hardcover with more than 500 images, including rehearsal and behind-the-scenes photographs. It is a tour book, not a physical edition of the concert film. The checked UK product page marks the book unavailable and says it cannot ship to U.S. delivery addresses, so availability depends on market and can change. The cited store information does not establish an official DVD or Blu-ray release.
