Paramount+ released the official 1923 Season 2 teaser in December 2024, featuring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford as Cara and Jacob Dutton. The series premiered exclusively on Paramount+ on February 23, 2025; Paramount announced the separate full trailer on January 19, 2025.
Where to watch the Season 2 teaser
The official teaser is hosted on Paramount+, where the video is labeled “Season 2 Teaser Trailer.” Its description says, “Spencer embarks on a race against time to save the Dutton legacy.” That line is Paramount+’s promotional description of the teaser, not a quotation from a cast member.

How the teaser differs from the full trailer
Paramount+ labels its video a teaser. Paramount Press Express announced the official full trailer later, on January 19, 2025. The two labels refer to separate promotional releases, not interchangeable names for one video. Paramount+’s episode page lists seven Season 2 episodes, dated February 23 through April 6, 2025.
What Paramount says Season 2 is about
Paramount’s January 19, 2025 trailer announcement and season synopsis describe a cruel winter bringing new challenges and unresolved business to Jacob and Cara at the Dutton ranch. Harsh conditions and adversaries threaten the family’s legacy. Spencer sets out on a difficult journey home to Montana, while Alexandra crosses the Atlantic to find him and reclaim their relationship. This is the studio’s announced setup, not a claim about the details of every episode.
