Does the thriller deliver suspense?
Both publications saw the screenplay as predictable and felt the film did not make the most of its premise, though their specific criticisms differ. Scroll described the serial-killer material as familiar and the filmmaking as perfunctory, criticizing the performances; its review identified the last scene as the film’s main surprise. The Times of India focused on one-note characterization and found the killer’s delay implausible, leading to a climax it considered tepid.
The result, in these reviews, is a thriller whose basic ingredients promise more tension than its execution supplies. Viewers seeking fresh turns or layered character work may find the journey familiar; the two reviews do not suggest that the film’s suspense consistently compensates for those weaknesses.

What works better: locations, cinematography and music
The Times of India gives the film credit for its scenic locations, cinematography and Simon K. King’s music.
