Heart announced the Royal Flush Tour in January 2024 as Ann and Nancy Wilson’s return to touring after a five-year hiatus. The dates were later postponed because of Ann Wilson’s health concerns, with North American shows rescheduled for 2025. That year marked 50 years since Heart’s 1975 debut album, Dreamboat Annie—a meaningful anniversary, though the rescheduled tour was not originally conceived as an album-anniversary celebration.

In September 2024, Golden 1 Center announced that Heart’s North American return would begin in February 2025. The announcement said previously purchased tickets would be honored for the new dates. That ticket assurance applied to the announced North American rescheduling; it should not be read as a blanket statement about every ticket or every territory. Ann Wilson said, “The best is yet to come!” and Nancy Wilson said, “We are so so excited to resume this tour.” Golden 1 Center rescheduling announcement
What does “50 years of Heart” refer to?
Heart formed in Vancouver in 1973, according to Golden 1 Center’s 2025 announcement. The specific 50-year milestone arriving in 2025 was the release of Dreamboat Annie, the band’s first album, in 1975. The Los Angeles Times connected the rescheduled tour with the album’s anniversary while noting that the tour had not initially been designed to mark it. It is therefore more accurate to call 2025 the 50th anniversary of Dreamboat Annie than to describe the Royal Flush Tour as an anniversary tour without qualification. In that 2025 interview, Nancy Wilson described Heart’s performance as “a 100% skin-in-the-game live rock show.” The album anniversary gives the tour’s return a useful point of reflection: the band’s history spans five decades, while the date itself belongs to its debut record.
