Mila Kunis has said that her eyes used to be different colors—one blue and one green—and that she had eye surgery after cataracts. In a later account, she said a glass lens was put in her eye and that her eyes then became the same color. Kunis has also described their current appearance as dark green or hazel, sometimes looking brown. These are her public statements, not a verified medical record.

When an eye-color difference should be checked

Many people with heterochromia have no underlying health issue, but some medical conditions can cause differences in eye color. Cleveland Clinic recommends seeing an eye-care specialist if you newly notice a color difference. The exact prevalence is not known, so a precise percentage should not be inferred.
