Published by UMATechnology on May 12, 2026, it explains how to check a title’s current availability instead. It also gives no year or region, so it does not establish which April or which country the headline refers to.
Is there a verified list of shows removed in April?
No title-by-title roster is established by the matching article. A separate Crunchyroll News search result concerns a historical article published in Italian on April 2, 2022, but its body was not available to verify, so it cannot support claims about specific shows. Without an identified year, country, and reliable title list, naming shows or their new viewing locations would be speculation.

Why the country matters
Crunchyroll says some shows are unavailable in certain regions because licensing agreements with partners and creators apply to specific territories. A title may therefore be playable in one country and unavailable in another. See Crunchyroll’s explanation of regional availability.
How to check whether a title is currently available
- Set the scope. Identify the country you want to check and the April period, including the year. Availability in a different market may not answer your question.
- Search Crunchyroll. Find the show and open its title page. Check whether the relevant season and episode pages load.
- Record what appears. Note the title and season, the country, the date checked, and any exact regional-unavailability message. A current failed playback check shows what you can access now; by itself, it does not prove when a title was removed.
- Cross-check other providers. JustWatch can help identify services that currently list a title. Treat the provider listing as a lead, not proof of the title’s historical removal date or of playback access; availability can depend on country, season, and language.
These steps reflect the method described in the UMATechnology article published May 12, 2026. Crunchyroll is the relevant check for whether a subscriber can play a title there now.

What to verify before relying on a removal report
- Country: Does the report identify the market it checked?
- Dates: Does it give the year and the dates when availability changed, rather than only the month?
- Scope: Does it distinguish the show from particular seasons or episodes?
- Access details: Does it state the exact availability message and whether the title was actually playable?
- Alternative services: Does it confirm current provider and language availability for the same country, rather than infer a destination from a listing?
