Two different ways to see the film
The anniversary re-release and Cosm’s Shared Reality presentation were separate events. Wizarding World announced the film’s 25th-anniversary cinema run across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC from August 27 through September 3, 2026, with local timing varying. The run included ten minutes of behind-the-scenes content described as never before seen in theaters. That announced window has passed.
Cosm’s event is a distinct, venue-based experience. Its announcement named Los Angeles and Dallas, with Atlanta and Detroit described as forthcoming venues. Current listings showed Los Angeles and Dallas; for any city, consult the schedule rather than assuming a venue or date is available.
What the Cosm experience includes
Cosm describes the presentation as the full-length film shown with immersive visuals and cinematic surround sound on an 87-foot-diameter, 12K+ LED display. The listing gives a total event runtime of 2 hours and 45 minutes; that figure is for the event, not the film alone.

The immersive format is the catch for anyone expecting a regular cinema booking: it is tied to Cosm venues and their schedules. It is not evidence of an ongoing, nationwide conventional-theater run.
Dates, cities, and ticket prices
Cosm showtimes and ticket inventory are date- and venue-specific, so check the official event schedule before making plans. October 2026 listings showed examples from $34 in Los Angeles and $26 in Dallas. Those were snapshots of specific listings, not fixed or universal prices; availability and prices can change.
