He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction is no longer scheduled for April 28, 2026. The latest reported target is early 2027, but no confirmed month or day has been announced.
What is the current release date?
The game was initially promoted for release on April 28, 2026. On April 14, 2026, Limited Run Games announced that it needed additional development time and moved the target to summer 2026, as reported by Gematsu.
That summer window has since passed. A report dated August 25, 2026 from He-Man.org says the game was shown at the Pixel Arcadia Showcase on August 24 with an early 2027 window. It gives no month or day, so early 2027 is a reported target—not a confirmed launch date.
What kind of game is Dragon Pearl of Destruction?
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction is a retro-styled 2D arcade beat-’em-up developed by Bitmap Bureau and published by Limited Run Games and Clear River Games under license from Mattel. Its visual style draws on the 1983 Filmation cartoon. The He-Man.org game overview reports 12 stages and rideable Battle Cat.
