Jayden was a third-grader who had been playing guitar since age five; the band’s recognition thrilled him because Guns N’ Roses was his favourite group.
What Guns N’ Roses shared
PerthNow reported that the band shared Jayden’s performance of “Nightrain” on its social media the week before the article appeared. The report does not identify which social platform the post appeared on or give a link to the original video, so the share is best understood as the account reported at the time rather than a currently accessible post.
Jayden told PerthNow: “I feel so happy and honoured and I’m very excited because Gun N’ Roses is my favourite band.” The recognition came while he was still a young student in Perth, not as an established adult performer.
How Jayden got started with guitar
Jayden’s mother, Melissa Tatasciore, told PerthNow that he had decided to play guitar on his own: “He woke up one day and said he wanted to play the guitar.” He began lessons at five. In the 2017 report, his routine was described as two hours of practice a day and two lessons a week with Perth guitarist Tane Tarrant.

Subsequent coverage adds context but should not be confused with the “Nightrain” clip. In March 2020, Loudwire reported that Jayden had begun posting guitar videos to YouTube at seven, joined the Gibson Guitar Generation program and took part in a Gear Factor jam with Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner.

A September 2020 Fremantle Herald article said Guns N’ Roses had also shared a Jayden solo of “Sweet Child o’ Mine” on its official channel. That is described as a separate performance from the “Nightrain” video reported in 2017. In that 2020 article, Hells Bells founder and rhythm guitarist Mal Osborne said: “To see him come from this shy little kid to someone who owns the stage and duck-hops along has been amazing.”
Grandstand Agency’s Lights Out biography describes Jayden as lead guitarist and lists performances at NAMM in 2019 and 2020 and work on School of Rock The Musical from 2018 to 2020. The page does not show a publication or update date, so it provides historical biography context rather than confirmation of his present-day age or work.
