Gloria Groove shared the rare photo on December 14, 2022, to mark eight years together with his partner, Pedro Luiz. The contemporaneous report described it as a relationship anniversary—not a wedding anniversary.
What the photo marked
Daniel Garcia, the performer known as Gloria Groove, posted a photo with Pedro on Instagram and celebrated their eight-year relationship anniversary. O Dia reported the post the next day, identifying Pedro as Pedro Lopes in its article and reproducing Daniel’s own name for him, Pedro Luiz.

“Meu ponto de paz” means “my point of peace.” It was Daniel’s affectionate description of Pedro in the anniversary post.
Why “eight years of marriage” is misleading
The 2022 occasion was reported as eight years together, not as a marriage milestone. The distinction matters: gshow reported that Daniel Garcia and Pedro Luís married in a civil ceremony on November 6, 2025, after nearly 11 years together. Its report of the 2025 announcement quotes Daniel describing “almost 11 years” of love, affection, companionship, complicity and loyalty. That later marriage should not be read back into the 2022 post.

Names used in reports
Daniel Garcia is Gloria Groove’s name outside the stage persona. Coverage identifies his partner using variations including Pedro Luiz, Pedro Lopes and Pedro Luís. O Dia’s 2022 article uses Pedro Lopes in its text while reproducing Daniel’s reference to Pedro Luiz; later gshow coverage uses Pedro Luís or Pedro Lopes. gshow’s November 2025 coverage identifies Garcia as the artist behind Gloria Groove.
