Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen announced in December 2025 that they were expecting their first child, about six months after marrying in California. Their daughter’s birth was reported in April 2026, so the original “expecting” headline is now out of date.

Steinfeld and Allen married in California in May 2025. Their pregnancy announcement followed roughly six months later. The couple had made their relationship Instagram-official in July 2024 and confirmed their engagement in November 2024. Vogue’s wedding and pregnancy coverage and ABC News reported the announcement and marriage timeline.
How did they announce the pregnancy?
In December 2025, Steinfeld shared the news in her Beau Society newsletter and in a joint social-media video with Allen. The video showed them together in a snowy setting and appeared as the final entry in her roundup of 29 moments she loved from the year, according to the Associated Press.

Yes. Steinfeld announced in her newsletter that their daughter had been born, and the birth was reported on April 2, 2026. Her note, quoted by NFL.com, said: “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes,” and was signed, “Love, Hailee and Josh.” The announcement did not give the baby’s name or exact birth date.
