In a January 2024 interview, Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s husband at the time, Ryan Scott Anderson, said they hoped to hold a larger celebration after their small prison wedding. He said Blanchard had a dress style in mind, but the interview did not reveal what it looked like. The couple’s later separation and divorce mean the proposed redo is a historical plan, not an upcoming wedding announcement.
What did Ryan Anderson say about wedding No. 2?
At the New York City premiere of Lifetime’s The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Anderson told PEOPLE: “We want a proper wedding at some point.” He said Blanchard “deserves a white dress moment” and added that she had already selected a style. The interview did not say that a dress had been purchased.
Blanchard described the idea as a reception or redo wedding with family and friends, “the dress and the cake and everything.” She said the purpose would differ from their first ceremony: “Our prison wedding was just something to where we can make our vows to each other.” These comments described a plan at the time, not a confirmed event. What was known about her dress?
Anderson’s remarks establish only that Blanchard had a style in mind and that he envisioned her having a celebratory “white dress moment.” The interview does not name a designer or shop, describe the dress’s cut or details, or confirm that she had bought one. There is no basis in that reporting to identify a specific gown.

Did Gypsy Rose and Ryan have a second wedding?
The January 2024 interview did not report that a second wedding had taken place. It discussed a future celebration after their first ceremony, which had been held in 2022 in prison.
