How Grace Hayden reacted to the anecdote
Grace Hayden said her mother hated the story and was pregnant with the youngest child at home when the incident supposedly happened. She also joked that it was fortunate there were no phones or video footage, saying: “Thank goodness there were no cell phones and video footage of that one.” Her comments were reported by PerthNow; they do not suggest that Grace witnessed the event.
