Bravo announced the casting on January 29, 2025. The season premiered on July 10, 2025, so the announcement is now a record of that season’s cast, not a current-season update.
What was Gretchen Rossi’s role in Season 19?
Bravo’s January 29, 2025 announcement confirmed Rossi’s return as a friend of the cast. She had previously appeared on the show in Seasons 4 through 8; Bravo described the gap before her Season 19 return as a 12-year hiatus. She was not a regular cast member during that absence.

What did Andy Cohen say about Rossi’s return?
In a November 20, 2025 report about an unaired reunion exchange, reunion host Andy Cohen rejected a rumor that Scheana Shay caused Rossi’s return: “It had nothing to do with Scheana.” Cohen said the discussion followed Rossi’s appearance on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. He recalled the group saying it was good to see her again and wondering whether she would return. Bravo’s account of the reunion exchange

The same reunion report described conflicting accounts of a separate alleged off-camera comment involving Tamra. Rossi denied making the comment, and Katie Ginella denied passing the information to Kiki Monique. Those claims remain disputed; they should not be treated as established facts.
