Gisella Colletti joined the Perth Symphony Orchestra for Electric Symphony at QV1 Plaza on 29 November 2025. The event brought orchestral and pop performances together with electronic music, drag and cabaret. A preview announced Colletti as one of the guest singers; a later review reported that she performed Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” with the orchestra.
Why Gisella Colletti was part of Electric Symphony
In its 27 November 2025 preview, PerthNow described Colletti as an Australian Idol finalist who had placed third earlier that year. The article reported that she would sing with the Perth Symphony Orchestra (PSO) at Electric Symphony, which was billed as the orchestra’s grand finale.
Colletti told PerthNow that she had performed with PSO before and recalled that the orchestra first offered her an opportunity when she was 14 or 15. That is her recollection as reported in the interview. She said she planned to perform six songs, mixing new and classic material, and described the show as “a different kind of performance.”
She also told PerthNow: “There’s going to be an incredible symphony orchestra behind us as well, which is just going to give it another level.” The preview noted that she had released a debut single, “Good Enough,” and planned a Christmas duet with fellow Australian Idol contestant William Le Brun; it did not establish the duet’s eventual release or availability.

What the event announced
The event announcement described three parts to the program. Its plan combined orchestral music and familiar songs with theatrical performances before a DJ-led electronic finale.
Sparkling Symphony
The announced opening set, “Sparkling Symphony,” paired a 22-piece orchestra and guest soloists, including Colletti, with retro anthems and sing-along favourites. The Scoop’s event announcement and PerthNow’s preview both presented this as part of the planned program.

Sheldon Ang Media’s review, published on 3 December 2025, reports that the show took place at QV1 on 29 November. The reviewer says Colletti sang Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” with the orchestra. The review also recounts performances by the other acts and the Fred Again…-inspired finale.
