What is Smash Kitchen?
Smash Kitchen is a food brand co-founded by actor Glen Powell, along with Sameer Mehta and Sean Kane. The company announced its launch on April 2, 2025, describing its initial products as organic condiments and naming Walmart as its nationwide launch retailer. The launch announcement also described the products as non-GMO. Those are company claims from the 2025 announcement, not a blanket statement about every product the brand sells today.
The brand’s official About page traces Powell’s interest in food to family meals and Texas backyard barbecues, and frames the company’s aim as bringing care to everyday pantry staples. In a Target interview published May 19, 2026, Powell described food as a way to connect with loved ones and said Smash Kitchen sought to balance ingredient quality, affordability and taste. These statements explain the company’s positioning; they do not establish that its products are healthier or better-tasting than competitors.
What products does Smash Kitchen make?
Original condiment lineup
The April 2025 launch announcement listed ketchup, yellow mustard, mayonnaise and barbecue sauce, along with flavors including hot honey ketchup, spicy mayonnaise and hot honey barbecue sauce. It cited organic tomatoes and cage-free eggs among the ingredients. Ingredient and certification details can vary by product, so check the current package label for the specific item you are considering.

Cooking oils and later expansion
On October 7, 2025, Smash Kitchen announced extra virgin olive oil, 100% pure avocado oil and organic coconut oil. The company said the oils would begin rolling out at Walmart on October 20, 2025; that announcement is not confirmation of present-day inventory.
By May 2026, a Target-published interview described Smash Kitchen as a pantry brand and discussed expansion beyond condiments, including a Tex-Mex line. The company’s About page lists a broader portfolio that includes cooking oils, meal builders, chips, salsas and sauces. See the Target interview and the company’s About page for those descriptions.

Where was Smash Kitchen sold?
Walmart was named as Smash Kitchen’s nationwide retailer at its April 2025 launch, and the October 2025 cooking-oil announcement described a Walmart rollout. Target’s May 2026 interview provides a later retailer-published profile of the brand, but the available announcements do not establish current local stock, a complete retailer list, or current Amazon availability. Check the retailer’s live product listings or contact a nearby store before making a trip.

If you are deciding whether a Smash Kitchen product suits you, evaluate the specific item rather than relying on the brand’s broad description. Compare the package’s ingredients and certification statements, serving size, price per unit and availability with alternatives. Taste is personal, and the company’s own descriptions are not independent evidence of a flavor advantage.
