In a report published on 20 September 2023, PerthNow identified Arabella Vujic as the girlfriend of former Love Island contestant Teddy Briggs and described her posts featuring Dubai travel, designer goods and luxury experiences. The same story examined the wealth-focused imagery around Briggs’ e-commerce business and complaints from clients who said the service fell short of its promises. It does not establish the couple’s current relationship or business status, or report a court finding against Briggs.
What the 2023 report said about the couple’s lifestyle
PerthNow characterized Vujic’s social media as glamorous and linked images of international travel, private jets, supercars and lavish dinners to the lifestyle Briggs promoted while selling his e-commerce business. The report said EcomConnect attracted clients drawn to those images of wealth and luxury. That is the newspaper’s description of the content and the business pitch, not independent confirmation of how the lifestyle was funded.
The article described Vujic’s Dubai travel, including a YouTube vlog that showed a business-class flight and subsequent accommodation. It also mentioned a meal at Nobu Dubai, a Lamborghini image and designer bags. The vlog reportedly indicated that the pair planned to live in Dubai for two months; that was a plan at the time, not evidence of where either person lives now.
What EcomConnect promised—and what clients reported
PerthNow described EcomConnect as a service through which Briggs offered to build dropshipping stores. In dropshipping, an online retailer sells a product while an external wholesaler or manufacturer ships it directly to the customer. PerthNow quoted Briggs’ pitch: “We build the whole business for you, guaranteed to work, start making sales from day one,” and a testimonial in which he said he would rebuild a store for free if it did not make money. These are reported sales claims, not proof that a guarantee was fulfilled or that customers made sales.

The article said A Current Affair approached Briggs on behalf of 46 clients who claimed he had over-promised and under-delivered. It also referred to an ABC segment and a client who said she was in the negative after Briggs’ work. Those accounts are client allegations as reported in the media; PerthNow did not establish them as court or regulator findings.
Yerri Guy’s account
One named client, Yerri Guy, told PerthNow that he and a business partner paid $10,000 to start a store selling projector lights. Guy criticized its grammar, spelling, currency conversion, terms and conditions, and shipping information. He said advertising costs would have outweighed any profit and said he was still waiting for a refund.
Guy said the pair had expected monthly profits of $10,000 to $15,000 based on what he attributed to the pitch. That figure was an expectation, not a verified earnings result. The article does not provide a full contract, audited store performance or an adjudicated resolution of Guy’s complaint.
Dubai prices in the report are historical, not current quotes
To convey the expense of the locations featured, PerthNow gave the following price estimates in its September 2023 report. They are historical snapshots, not current travel or hospitality prices.

Self Love Clvb and the limits of the report
PerthNow said Vujic presented herself as an entrepreneur and owner of Self Love Clvb. The newspaper criticized the prices of products on the site by comparing them with AliExpress. That is PerthNow’s comparison; the article does not supply an independent product audit.
The report’s claims and price references describe what was reported in September 2023. Its account does not establish the couple’s current relationship, residence, business operations or legal status. It also said a television appearance was expected in October 2023, but this report alone does not confirm that it took place.
