WWE’s career highlights include her NXT Women’s Championship win over Becky Lynch, becoming the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion, and a later Women’s Tag Team Championship victory alongside Lynch at WrestleMania 41. Those are milestones in her career, not a statement of her current title status.
Who is Lyra Valkyria?
WWE identifies Valkyria’s hometown as Dublin, Ireland, and describes her as an Irish Superstar on its official profile. She is known to viewers through WWE’s NXT and main-roster divisions.
Her ring identity is also shaped by Irish heritage. WWE frames “The Morrigan”—a Celtic goddess of war and destiny—as an influence on the character. That is WWE’s presentation of Valkyria’s on-screen persona, rather than a biographical claim about the performer.
Lyra Valkyria’s career milestones
NXT breakthrough
WWE’s profile credits Valkyria with defeating Becky Lynch to win the NXT Women’s Championship. Lynch was an important opponent at this point in Valkyria’s career; the two later became tag-team partners.

Move to Raw
WWE says Valkyria was drafted to Monday Night Raw in 2024. In a September 2024 interview report, Valkyria described her unexpected draft and debut in the Queen of the Ring tournament as being “thrown into the fire” and having to “hit the ground running.” The wording is reported by F4W/WON.
Women’s Intercontinental Championship
WWE’s profile says Valkyria defeated Dakota Kai to become the first Women’s Intercontinental Champion. After that title win, WWE published a Raw-exclusive interview on January 13, 2025, in which Valkyria reflected on her journey. The interview page provides the moment in her own voice; its accompanying text does not supply a direct quotation.

The pairing marks a change in their WWE story: Lynch had previously been Valkyria’s NXT title opponent. These championship references describe past accomplishments; they do not establish who holds either title now.
