Plan on a reserved, roughly two-hour guided tour through a historic mansion filled with themed rooms, unsettling displays and the museum’s paranormal lore. Book a time slot, arrive at 600 E Charleston Blvd, and be ready for dark spaces, sensory effects and a no-recording rule. The museum presents stories about haunted or dangerous objects as part of the experience; they are not independently established facts.
Choose a tour and reserve a time
The museum recommends booking ahead because tickets can sell out. A ticket is for a reserved time slot: you may arrive within that window, wait briefly, then join a small-group departure. The museum says tours leave roughly every 10 to 15 minutes on a first-come basis within the time block; walk-up tickets are limited. Check the official ticket page for current prices and availability before booking.

Prices and schedules can change. RIP is most relevant if access to additional exhibits and the included merchandise justify the higher listed price for you. The museum strongly recommends taking a regular or RIP tour first so you know the building’s history and layout before booking the late-night tour. Its ticket page lists groups of up to 12.
Plan your arrival and check-in
The address is 600 E Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas. The museum identifies the historic Wengert Mansion as being downtown near North Las Vegas Boulevard, Charleston Boulevard and 6th Street. For parking, follow the venue’s directions: use the 6th Street entrance and turn left into the brown-gated lot. The museum currently lists hours as Wednesday through Monday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and says it is closed Tuesdays; confirm hours before setting out.

Allow time for check-in and a possible short wait within your reserved slot. Every visitor must sign a waiver. The museum describes it as acknowledging risks it associates with the building and collection; its supernatural framing is the venue’s claim, not proof of paranormal effects.
Check the age policy if bringing a young visitor
The museum FAQ says visitors under 12 are not admitted, guests aged 12 through 17 must have an adult with them, and everyone needs proof of age. Travel Nevada’s listing instead says children under 14 are not permitted and that ages 14–17 need an adult. Because the listings conflict for 12- and 13-year-olds, confirm directly with the museum before booking for a visitor in that age range.

What happens during the tour
Expect a guided route through a mansion arranged as themed rooms, eerie hallways and secret passages. The museum describes more than 30 rooms and exhibits, including the Devil’s Rocking Chair, Peggy the Doll, the Dybbuk Box, Dr. Death’s van and items associated with the Demon House. Those names and stories are presented through the museum’s haunted-house framing; accounts that an object is cursed or caused physical harm should be understood as lore, not independently verified fact.
The museum estimates a regular tour at about two hours and says small groups depart every 10 to 15 minutes. Visitors should expect an atmospheric setting rather than a conventional, brightly lit museum gallery. Some visitor reviews displayed on the museum’s site mention video segments in certain rooms, but that is visitor testimony and not a guaranteed element of every tour.

Prepare for the rules and sensory effects
- No recording: Photography and audio recording are prohibited during tours, and smart glasses are not allowed.
- Light and atmosphere: The venue warns that exhibits may include strobe effects, fog and flickering lights.
- Bags and refreshments: Large bags, outside food and outside drink are prohibited. A bag check is available.
- Prohibited items: The museum describes itself as drug-, alcohol- and firearm-free.
- Accessibility: The FAQ says lower levels are wheelchair accessible and accommodations are made for visitors to view the collection on upper levels. Contact the venue before booking to confirm the arrangement for your specific needs.
- Gift shop: You can visit the shop without taking a tour.
- Masks: The FAQ currently describes masks as optional, but its wording refers to a past statewide mandate. Verify the venue’s current policy if this affects your plans.
Decide whether an upgrade fits your visit
General admission is the lower-priced way to experience the daytime guided tour. RIP adds extended exhibit access plus a badge, lanyard and T-shirt, so it suits visitors particularly interested in seeing more of the collection. The late-night tour is a distinct after-hours option with an included engraved flashlight, and the venue recommends a regular or RIP tour first. Consider both your interest in additional access and your comfort with darkness and sensory effects; no option is the right choice for every visitor.
