Fritos X Twisters was a 2024 promotional snack combining Flavor Twists Flamin’ Hot and Flavor Twists Ranch in one limited-edition bag. It was tied to the film Twisters and offered through a social giveaway—not introduced as a regular nationwide retail product.
What was in the Fritos X Twisters bag?
The collaboration brought together Fritos Flavor Twists Flamin’ Hot and Fritos Flavor Twists Ranch. In launch wording quoted by Parade, Frito-Lay called it the first time the brand had blended two flavors in one bag and described the spiral shape as a “Twister.” Those descriptions are the company’s promotional claims as quoted in the report.
The snack was linked to the 2024 film Twisters, which was scheduled to open July 19, 2024. Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery reported the collaboration on July 12; Parade reported that Fritos announced it on July 11.
How could fans get it?
Launch coverage described Fritos X Twisters as a limited giveaway. Fans were directed to follow Fritos on Instagram, like the relevant post, and comment with a tornado emoji for a chance to receive a bag. The promotion also included film tickets and Twisters merchandise, according to Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery and Parade.
