No, according to Coppola’s representative. The Guardian reported the representative’s description of it as a scheduled update with Dr Andrea Natale, Coppola’s doctor of more than 30 years, and quoted the representative saying Coppola was “resting nicely” and “all is well.” The Guardian’s August 5, 2025 report distinguishes that account from emergency framing.

Does a 2026-dated article report a new hospitalization?
A La Sicilia page displays a September 2, 2026 date, but its text repeats the account of the Tor Vergata procedure and Coppola’s reassurance. It does not establish a separate 2026 hospitalization. La Sicilia’s page should therefore not be read as confirmation of a new event.
