The production account in GamesBeat starts with casting and costume design alongside setlist development. Ubisoft’s ensemble was around 15 dancers per game, according to the 2015 report. Choreography for core and regional tracks was reviewed by Ubisoft staff and later shown to people outside the company before filming.

Routines were filmed at Ubisoft Paris in two-day increments every two weeks. Marine de la Seigliere, Ubisoft brand director, described the bespoke nature of the work to GamesBeat: “We produce everything from nothing,” and the goal was “something unique, nothing you can buy online or in a store.”
De la Seigliere said the crew could film around four stages or numbers per day, depending on production demands: “It depends on the complexity of the costumes or effects demands.” These are production details reported in 2015, not independently measured figures or statistics about the size of any regional audience.

Why the 2015 feature emphasized cultural differences
Ubisoft’s stated rationale was that dancing does not carry the same role in every market. De la Seigliere told GamesBeat, “We have markets where dancing is a big part of their culture.” She also described the need to accommodate a wider audience: “The world has made us more reactive, we can’t think of one game anymore. Everyone can dance, so we need to be open to every gamer.”
Veronique Halbrey, Ubisoft associate creative director, framed accessibility more broadly: “It is about removing any barriers to dance,” including “Whether it is device or even the living room.” Together, those comments present localization as one part of a wider effort to make the game usable and appealing across different settings.
