Carmelo Anthony’s documented Perth HoopsFest appearance was for the inaugural event in September 2024. He is not confirmed for the next listed HoopsFest, scheduled for 13–17 January 2027. That Perth festival will bring NBL and WNBL games and fan activities to the city, with games scheduled at RAC Arena.
When was Carmelo Anthony in Perth for HoopsFest?
On 19 August 2024, the NBL announced that Anthony would headline the inaugural Perth HoopsFest and attend the NBL season opener on 19 September 2024. The league identified him as a 10-time NBA All-Star and said he would take on a Global Ambassador role for its Next Stars program. Read the NBL’s announcement.
That announcement concerns the 2024 event. The official listings for the next Perth HoopsFest do not confirm that Anthony will attend in 2027, so his earlier appearance should not be treated as a future booking.
