Spoilers for the ending and both credit teases in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. The film has two teases: a mid-credits scene in which trespassers find Springtrap in the original Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, followed by an audio-only message from Henry Emily warning Mike about Charlotte and the Marionette. Circus Baby is not established as appearing in either credits scene, and neither tease confirms a third film.
How many post-credits scenes does Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 have?
There are two: a visual mid-credits scene and a later audio-only post-credits tease. The first centers on Springtrap; the second is Henry Emily’s voicemail to Mike. GamesRadar+’s scene breakdown describes the visual reveal, while its ending explanation covers Henry’s message and the Marionette.
What happens in the Springtrap mid-credits scene?
Three men enter the original Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria looking for objects to use as props in a Fazbear-themed haunted-house attraction. They learn the building is due for demolition and search for merchandise and other salvage. In a hidden room, they discover Springtrap. What does the Springtrap reveal mean?
The scene implies that William Afton’s body remains inside the suit. The ending explanation from GamesRadar+ connects the hidden room to the child spirits who had kept Afton at bay: after they pass on, the room can be found and Springtrap may be removed. That makes the discovery a potential physical threat beyond the pizzeria, but it does not show exactly what Afton will do next.

What does Henry’s audio tease add?
After the visual scene, an audio-only tease plays a voicemail from Henry Emily to Mike. Henry identifies himself as Afton’s former business partner and says he helped create the animatronics. He warns Mike about his daughter, Charlotte, and the Marionette. The scene account also reports the Marionette breaking into Henry’s home. GamesRadar+’s ending explanation
The message links Henry to the animatronics and Afton while suggesting the Marionette remains a threat. It is a warning and a possible story setup, not a complete account of what happens next.

Is Circus Baby in the credits scenes?
The cited scene accounts place Springtrap in the visual tease and Henry’s warning about Charlotte and the Marionette in the audio tease; they do not establish that Circus Baby appears in either one. A separate discussion connects Circus Baby to a Vanessa dream sequence and to Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, but that is an interpretation of a possible future direction—not confirmation of a credits appearance or a planned Sister Location film. GamesRadar+’s ending explanation discusses the sequel possibilities. Universal’s home-video announcement mentions Easter-egg coverage among its bonus features, but does not specify a Baby-related explanation.

Treat predictions about a sequel—or about a direct adaptation of a particular game—as speculation. The cited ending coverage reported that no third film had been announced at the time of publication; that status can change, so the scene itself should not be taken as evidence of an announcement.
