New Season 3 cast members and guest characters
These are notable new additions identified in the official Season 3 cast rundown and CBS episode descriptions. They are not a complete list of every guest performer credited across the season.
| Actor | Character | Season 3 role |
|---|---|---|
| Jared Padalecki | Camden | A fire captain from Southern California who becomes Bode’s instructor and recognizes his talent. CBS lists Padalecki as a guest star in episode 5, “Edgewater’s About to Get Real Cozy.” |
| Leven Rambin | Audrey James | A former prison fire-camp member who earns a place at Station 42 and develops a relationship with Bode. CBS lists Rambin as a guest star in episode 2, “Firing Squad.” |
| Morena Baccarin | Sheriff Mickey Fox | Sharon’s sister and a crossover character connected to Sheriff Country. CBS later describes Mickey as Bode’s aunt in its episode 16 synopsis. |
| W. Earl Brown | Wes Fox | Mickey’s father, also connected to the Sheriff Country crossover. |
| Jelly Roll | Noah | A former convict who now works as a healthcare worker. |
CBS’s episode guide also names other episode-specific guest appearances, including Constance Zimmer in episode 13 and Phil Morris in episode 9. Those mentions do not amount to a complete guest-cast credit list.

Returning Season 3 cast and characters
Paramount+’s official Season 3 cast rundown lists the following actors and roles. It is a season-level roster, not a guarantee that each performer appears in every episode.

| Billy Burke | Vincent (“Vince”) Leone | Bode’s father and a member of the Leone family. |

Leven Rambin appears in the official roster, but Paramount+ separately identifies her as a new Season 3 guest performer. Her inclusion there should not be read as evidence that she is a returning regular.

What Season 3 is about
The season opens during Gabriela and Diego’s wedding, which is interrupted by a helicopter crash. The emergency brings the Station 42 and Three Rock teams into rescue and fire response. Across the season, Bode works toward qualifying as a professional firefighter, while family tensions and the relationships among the firefighters and trainees continue to develop.
Fire Country follows Bode in a prison-release firefighting program in Northern California, where Three Rock participants work alongside professional firefighters. That is the show’s fictional setup, not a comprehensive account of real-world California correctional firefighting.

Season 3 episode count, dates, and streaming
Season 3 premiered October 18, 2024, and concluded with a two-episode finale on April 25, 2025. It has 20 episodes, and Paramount+ says all Season 3 episodes are streaming there. The season includes breaks in its broadcast schedule, including a gap between the December 2024 episodes and the January 2025 return.
