What the teaser footage showed
DC’s December 12, 2025 breakdown says the teaser opens with Krypto in Kara’s bedroom, amid scattered bottles. It also points to glimpses of Kara’s past on Krypton, Ruthye’s request for vengeance, and Jason Momoa as Lobo (DC’s teaser breakdown). These are details and interpretations of the teaser, not a complete account of the finished film.
DC describes the story as Kara reluctantly joining Ruthye after an adversary strikes close to home. The film draws on Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the comic by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. The official page identifies Milly Alcock as Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, Craig Gillespie as director, and Ana Nogueira as screenwriter (DC’s breakdown).

How the release dates fit together
The teaser’s December 2025 debut was followed by the film’s theatrical release dates: DC listed June 26, 2026, for North American theaters and IMAX, with international release beginning June 24, 2026. Those dates have also passed (DC’s official film page). The December teaser is the specific footage and announcement at issue here; it should not be confused with later promotional trailer releases.
