The report raised concern about his welfare, but the sources available here do not establish whether the appeal was resolved. This is a historical account, not a current missing-person alert.
Who was the former Neighbours actor?
Troy Beckwith played Michael Martin on the Australian soap opera Neighbours in the 1990s. That’s Life published its report on June 1, 2017, noting that it had originally appeared on WHO. Read the That’s Life report.
When and where was Troy Beckwith last seen?
The 2017 report said Beckwith, then 41, was last seen at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Cranbourne, southeast of Melbourne. A contemporaneous search-result excerpt attributed to Victoria Police dates the sighting to May 31, 2017, and says he was believed to be driving a 1999 Ford Falcon. Because the release page could not be verified in full, those additional vehicle details should be treated cautiously.
Why were police and family concerned?
That’s Life reported that Beckwith’s family and police were concerned for his welfare because he had a medical condition. It described him as wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and black-and-red runners. The report asked anyone with sightings or information to contact Cranbourne Police Station at the time.
