What happened with Andrew and Jess?
Before choosing Jess, Andrew told Ash Michelle that his heart belonged to someone else. He then professed his love for Jess. In the July 2021 report, Andrew said the two were still together and that Jess planned to move to his farm in the future. That was an update at the time, not confirmation of their relationship status today.
Why did Sam leave before the finale?
Sam was not a fifth finale decision. He ended his journey one episode earlier, sending both of his final picks home because he felt friendship rather than romantic connection. The July 2021 report said a reunion special was planned after the Olympics, but it does not establish what that broadcast later revealed about Sam.
