The show’s official clip says Olive brought judge Sofia Vergara onstage and promotes it as “the spookiest audition of the season.” The headline’s claim that fans “lost sleep” is colorful phrasing, not a measured audience statistic or evidence of a health effect.
Who was the magician behind the headline?
Olive was billed as an “invisible magician” on America’s Got Talent. The show’s verified channel published the audition clip on June 11, 2024, during Season 19 auditions. Its promotional description says Olive brings Sofia Vergara onstage for “the spookiest audition of the season.” That is the show’s characterization, not an independent assessment of the act’s place among the season’s auditions. Why did the audition get called creepy?
The official clip’s framing and Olive’s invisible-magician billing set up the performance as a spooky spectacle. An indexed June 19, 2024 excerpt of Alex Passa’s article for The Things says viewers questioned whether the act was staged or real. The excerpt does not establish how many viewers reacted that way, and it provides no basis for treating “lost sleep” as a literal or widespread effect.
When did the audition air?
Parade’s June 11, 2024 preview identifies the episode as Season 19, Auditions 3, and lists Olive among that night’s acts. The official clip was also published June 11. These sources place the performance in the 2024 audition round; they do not establish a later result for Olive.

Did Olive advance on America’s Got Talent?
The available excerpt says viewers wondered whether Olive advanced but does not provide the answer. The official clip description and Parade preview establish the audition context, not the outcome, so Olive’s advancement cannot be confirmed from these sources.
