El regulador sanitario ruso, Roszdravnadzor, publicó un comunicado sobre la revisión de la muerte de una mujer de 39 años tras una braquioplastia en Moscú. Ese comunicado no nombra a Burtseva en el texto consultado. La cobertura sobre Burtseva suele indicar que tenía 38 años y describe otra intervención estética.
