What FACE is about
BIGHIT MUSIC introduced the album as Jimin facing himself directly while preparing for his next step as a solo artist. In a release-day video, Jimin described finding resolve through that process: “I gained the will and power to prepare for a new beginning by facing hollowness, loneliness and a feeling of being lost,” Yonhap reported on March 24, 2023.
#1 Best Overall
Jimin connected “Alone” to the fears, worries, loneliness, and emptiness he experienced while working during the pandemic. He told Yonhap that those feelings shaped the song and that it was difficult to access the emotions while recording it. Yonhap also reported that the film Like Crazy inspired the song of the same name.
The album’s release notice and dates are documented in BIGHIT MUSIC’s Weverse announcement; Yonhap’s March 24, 2023 release-day report includes Jimin’s comments about the album and its songs.
