The four named special-grade sorcerers in this ranking are Satoru Gojo, Yuta Okkotsu, Yuki Tsukumo, and Suguru Geto. Gojo is the clearest choice for first: official character material calls him the strongest sorcerer. The order of the other three is an editorial judgment, not an official ranking or a guarantee of who would win every matchup.
How this ranking works
This list ranks the four named sorcerers treated as special grade in the official character material—not special-grade cursed spirits, cursed objects, or characters with a different formal classification. The comparison is qualitative, using four considerations: combat ceiling, breadth and adaptability of technique, demonstrated control, and how reliable and comparable the available evidence is. No official numerical scale or complete publisher-issued order is available.
Gojo’s first place has explicit official support. The anime character page says he later becomes the strongest sorcerer, and Bandai Namco’s Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash profile calls him the strongest special-grade sorcerer. The official profiles establish the relevant characters and selected abilities, but do not settle the order below him. Those positions are therefore interpretation, and individual matchups or circumstances could produce a different outcome. Official anime character pages; Bandai Namco’s Gojo profile.
1. Satoru Gojo
Gojo ranks first because the official material gives him the strongest direct characterization of the four: the anime page describes him as the man who would later become the strongest sorcerer, while Bandai Namco’s game profile calls him the strongest special-grade sorcerer. The anime page identifies Limitless as his technique, and Bandai Namco highlights the many ways he can use it to dominate a fight. That framing supports the top position without implying a measurable gap or an official score.

- Reliable Performance: Consistent quality and functionality for peace of mind
His place is the least debatable part of this list. The evidence does not establish that he wins every conceivable fight under every condition; it does establish that the official descriptions frame him as the strongest. Official anime character pages; Bandai Namco’s Gojo profile.
2. Yuta Okkotsu
Yuta takes second for this editorial ranking, with an important limit: the official profile confirms his special-grade status and describes his connection to Rika and his confrontation with Geto in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, but it does not establish a universal head-to-head advantage over Yuki or Geto. His profile also says that he releases Rika from the curse after that conflict. Those facts support his place among exceptionally capable sorcerers, not a definitive proof that he beats every person below him.
Yuta’s ranking is especially sensitive to which point in the story is being considered. A comparison should specify the version of Yuta and the circumstances being judged; the official character page alone does not provide a complete feat-by-feat comparison. Official anime character pages.
3. Yuki Tsukumo
Yuki ranks third here, but her position is the most difficult to fix from the official profile material alone. The anime character page identifies her as one of Japan’s four special-grade sorcerers and explains her opposition to the school’s policy of simply exorcising curses: she wants a world in which curses are not born. It does not compare her fighting ability with Yuta’s or Geto’s.

Her limited placement in this list should not be mistaken for evidence that she is weak. The official profile establishes her classification and aims, not a complete combat record; placing her below Yuta is a reasoned judgment rather than a settled canon order. Official anime character pages.
4. Suguru Geto
Geto ranks fourth in this interpretation, while remaining a special-grade sorcerer with a notably flexible technique. The official anime archive identifies him as a user of Cursed Spirit Manipulation: he can absorb and control cursed spirits that submit to him. Commanding multiple curses gives his technique a different kind of breadth from the others’ abilities, so his placement does not mean that his toolkit is narrow or that every matchup favors the people above him.
This entry is about Suguru Geto himself, including the Geto portrayed in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. It does not count later actions by another character using Geto’s body as Geto’s own feats. The official profile describes Geto as Gojo’s former classmate and a rival in outlook, but does not publish a complete ranking against Yuta and Yuki. Official anime character pages.
The ranking at a glance
| Rank | Sorcerer | What the official material establishes | How firm is the placement? |

| 2 | Yuta Okkotsu | Identified as a second-year special-grade sorcerer, connected to Rika and the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Official anime character pages. | Editorial ordering; the profile does not settle his position relative to Yuki or Geto. |
| 3 | Yuki Tsukumo | Identified as one of Japan’s four special-grade sorcerers; her stated goal is a world where curses are not born. Official anime character pages. | Editorial ordering; the profile does not compare her combat strength with the others. |
| 4 | Suguru Geto | User of Cursed Spirit Manipulation, which lets him absorb and control cursed spirits that submit to him. Official anime character pages. | Editorial ordering; later actions by another character in Geto’s body are excluded. |
What the official sources do—and do not—settle
The official profiles establish Gojo, Yuta, Yuki, and Geto as the four sorcerers considered here and provide selected descriptions of their status or abilities. They do not supply a full comparative ladder, a numerical strength measure, or a definitive order for Yuta, Yuki, and Geto. Accordingly, the ranking’s first place reflects explicit official language; the remaining order reflects qualitative editorial analysis.
For readers who want to follow the characters in the source material, Shonen Jump’s official series page identifies Gege Akutami as the author and lists the manga volumes. The anime site also provides an official page for the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie.
