Season 7 premiered Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. It was the show’s first season on ABC after six seasons on FOX; The Walt Disney Company announced the network move on the same day. Disney’s season-launch announcement also said the series was scheduled to reach its 100th episode on April 4, 2024. That was a specific episode milestone, not a measure of the season’s audience.

What happens in Season 7?
A hijacked honeymoon cruise
The season opens as Athena Grant and Bobby Nash begin their honeymoon aboard a cruise ship that is hijacked. The emergency unfolds over the first three episodes, putting the couple’s survival at the center of the opening arc. Disney’s launch announcement also previews a civilian trapped in a fighter jet.
Relationships and family pressures
Beyond the opening disaster, the season follows several personal storylines. Hen worries about Athena and Bobby’s whereabouts; Buck has a story involving Athena’s son; Eddie and Marisol reassess their relationship; and Maddie and Chimney reach their wedding day. These threads are reflected in the official Disney+ episode listing.

Bobby’s past and the season’s more personal turn
Later episodes give greater weight to Bobby’s family history, addiction, guilt, and relationship with Athena. In a May 30, 2024 interview with TV Guide, Peter Krause said the story moved from the heightened cruise adventure into “real territory” involving relationships, communication, addiction, and guilt. That is Krause’s description of the season’s themes.
How many episodes are in Season 7?
Season 7 has 10 episodes. Krause called it a “truncated” season in a TV Guide interview published May 30, 2024. ABC scheduled the finale, “All Fall Down,” for that same date.

What happens in the Season 7 finale?
Spoilers: ABC’s May 24, 2024 finale announcement says a devastating fire at the Nash home leaves Bobby’s fate uncertain. Athena sets out to find the truth, while Hen and Karen face a custody battle and Christopher struggles to forgive Eddie. The episode is titled “All Fall Down.”
Bobby survives and wakes, but Krause’s post-finale account adds the closing turn: when Bobby returns, Vincent Gerrard has taken control of the 118. Krause described Gerrard’s return as a cliffhanger that changes the power dynamic heading into Season 8. That interpretation comes from the actor’s interview with TV Guide, rather than ABC’s finale logline.

Where can you watch 9-1-1 Season 7?
Availability depends on your country and can change. ABC’s May 24, 2024 finale announcement said episodes would be available on Hulu the next day, but that dated statement does not establish that Season 7 is currently in Hulu’s catalog everywhere. Disney+ lists 9-1-1 and cautions that availability varies by region; its listing alone does not confirm Season 7 access in every market. Check the current local catalog and subscription requirements before signing up.
