How did the Spider Donut design change?
Dunkin’s retrospective dates the Spider Donut’s debut to 2017. Its early design used orange icing and orange drizzle eyes. In 2018, Dunkin’ changed the donut-hole topping to Glazed Chocolate MUNCHKINS and the eyes to white icing; the company says that design continued for the next six years. The donut became purple-frosted in 2024, a color it retained for the 2025 menu. Dunkin’s Spider Donut history
