What the March 8, 2017 email says
A seven-page copy of the email chain, identified as EFTA02656821, includes the exchange. In one message, Epstein asks, “did you find me a cute israeli? :)” Chopra later replies, “God is a construct / Cute girls are real.” The wording and line break are reproduced as they appear in the record.
The surrounding messages refer to cells, awareness and “cute girls.” The excerpt does not say who the phrase refers to, provide ages, or explain what either person meant by it. Read the EFTA02656821 email record copy.
What CNN reported about the broader correspondence
In a segment dated February 20, 2026, CNN said its review found hundreds of messages between Chopra and Epstein from 2016 to 2019. CNN described correspondence about spirituality, health and wellness, mutual friends and women, along with meetings and visits. It also reported that Chopra invited Epstein to bring “your girls” on trips on at least two occasions. Those are CNN’s findings from its broader review; they are not all independently demonstrated by the single email-chain copy linked above. Read the CNN transcript.

What the email does—and does not—establish
The email is evidence that the quoted words appear in a message attributed to Chopra in the record copy. It does not establish the identity or ages of the people described as “girls,” the intended meaning of the exchange, or criminal wrongdoing by Chopra. Correspondence with Epstein, or the appearance of a message in released files, is not by itself proof of criminal conduct.
CNN reported that Epstein was convicted in 2008 for soliciting prostitution from a minor and that Chopra had not been accused of wrongdoing related to Epstein. CNN quoted Chopra saying: “I was never involved in nor did I participate in any criminal or exploitative conduct.” It also reported his acknowledgment that some past exchanges reflected “poor judgment in tone,” and quoted his airport response, “No misconduct.” These are statements and reporting attributed to CNN, not determinations of what the March 2017 email meant.
