What is Elemental about?
In Element City, people shaped by different elements live side by side. The film focuses on Ember and Wade, whose contrasting natures bring them together and test what Ember thinks is possible. Disney’s official synopsis describes their friendship as challenging her view of the world.

How does the film build Element City?
The city’s design turns its elemental premise into a lived-in setting. Pixar says production designer Don Shank translated Sohn’s imagination into the world, including Sohn’s request for funny, punny graphics. The result makes the city itself part of the film’s visual storytelling, rather than just a backdrop for Ember and Wade.
Where can you watch Elemental?
Disney announced that the film began streaming on Disney+ on September 13, 2023. That is its historical streaming debut, not a guarantee that it is currently available in every country; check your local Disney+ catalog.
