Cosy @ the Quay | A European Fable was a free three-day winter festival at Elizabeth Quay in Perth from July 18 to 20, 2025. The event has passed, and the available listings do not confirm a future edition. Its programme paired a heated Winter Dome and European-inspired food with family activities by day and music, dancing and fireside entertainment in the evening.

Winter Dome and food
The central feature was a heated Winter Dome with lounge seating, hot chocolate, piano accordionists and folk singers. Food examples in the listing included Polish-style toasted sandwiches and wood-fired pizza. The event was presented as a European-inspired winter celebration, drawing on the atmosphere of festivals in Salzburg, Munich and Strasbourg.
Family activities and snow effects
Daytime programming included family activities and a Euro Disco. PerthNow’s July 11 preview said snow effects were scheduled hourly from 1pm to 9pm. The advertised evening programme included DJ sets, opera, Viennese dancing, folk-dance lessons, fireside poetry and marshmallow toasting. The mix meant the festival was more than a food market: its listed attractions ranged from performances and dancing to activities for families.
Was entry free, and did anything cost extra?
Entry to the festival was advertised as free. PerthNow reported that rides and attractions, including a Ferris wheel, carousel and train rides, were paid add-ons. That distinction matters: the reports do not describe the whole festival as ticketed, but they also do not establish prices for those extras. What access information was listed?
Visit Perth’s historical listing stated that wheelchair access and accessible toilets were available, and noted nearby parking. It did not provide further detail about routes, specific facilities or parking arrangements. Because this information belongs to the 2025 event listing, it should not be treated as confirmation of current access conditions at Elizabeth Quay.
