Emma Watson did not “freeze” in the documented account of her 2009 Late Night with David Letterman appearance. Did Watson freeze or look stunned?
The “froze” characterization is not supported by the accounts cited here. The contemporaneous report describes a blushing, humorous response, while the retrospective account supports the photograph detail; neither establishes that Watson froze or was stunned. A headline claiming she froze goes beyond what those accounts demonstrate.
